Hello everyone! I’m Mrs. Vidal and for 29 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of being a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. From the moment I stepped into my first classroom, I knew that teaching was my calling. Teaching kindergarten isn’t just a job; it’s a lifelong commitment to shaping young hearts and minds. Kindergarten is where the magic happens. It’s a place where alphabet blocks become words and crayon scribbles transform into masterpieces. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where each child feels seen, heard, and valued. In my kindergarten classroom, I weave SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) techniques into our daily experiences. Through these practices, we help students develop self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation. Together, we nurture not only academic growth but also the resilience and compassion that will shape their futures.
