L.A. Unified's 2025 SEL Symposium

Kristina Cotran has been a Special Educator for 14 years and specializes in facilitating social emotional learning for adults and teens. She has extensive training from Keeth Matheny, co-author of School-Connect. She is an expert in the School-Connect curriculum and uses it in her SEL elective class that she has taught for the past 4 years at Chaffey High School. She leads the SEL team at Chaffey and has developed and lead numerous trainings throughout her district on the implementation of SEL in the classroom. Also, she is a certified wellness educator, mindfulness instructor and yoga teacher.
