His pursuit of dual master’s degrees in Counseling and Educational Leadership reflects his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Sandoval’s career with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has been marked by a progression of impactful roles, beginning as a Teacher’s Assistant and later serving as a teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. These diverse experiences have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape, enabling him to identify and address barriers to equity at all levels. As a teacher, he worked tirelessly to inspire and empower students in the classroom. As an Instructional Coach, he supported educators in refining their practices to enhance student outcomes. In his roles as Assistant Principal and Principal, he demonstrated visionary leadership by fostering inclusive school cultures and driving academic success for diverse student populations.
Currently, Sandoval serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Los Angeles Administrative Services Credential (LAASC) Program within LAUSD's Human Resources Department. In this role, he plays a pivotal part in preparing and mentoring future educational leaders. By embedding equity-driven practices into professional development programs, he ensures that new administrators are equipped to lead schools that promote transformative change and equitable opportunities for all students.
